My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mazey is a beautiful, 7 years old petite 60 lb German Shepherd originally adopted in California. She’s smart, affectionate, and athletic with the spirit of a 1-year-old. She knows her commands in German, follows hand signals, and loves tricks like sit pretty, shake, high five, and even “are you embarrassed?” She’s fully house-trained, respectful, and thinks she’s a lap dog. Mazey loves hiking, running, and catching a ball mid-air, but is just as happy cuddling all day. She had a full vet check on Oct 8th, 2025. Vet noting she still has energy and athleticism like a 1 year old. Clean bill of health! She can jump when overly excited. She is very food-motivated! She gets anxious during fireworks but feels safe in her crate. Mazey didn’t grow up with kids and prefers an adult-only home. She’d thrive with someone who can give her routine, attention, and love. She may do best as the only dog or with a calm companion. She’s a loyal, goofy snuggle bug. She’s a lover girl through and through!
