12-11-25 Claudio was found by my friend Claudia, so he is named in her honor! She scooped him up, got him neutered and vaccinated and passed him onto us. He is a spunky little man, loaded with energy and attitude. He LOVES people and will climb up your leg to get your attention and be held (good thing shorts are no longer in season)! He loves other cats and wants to play play play! He's a hoot. He should go to a home with other cats or kittens to play with as he is young and full of beans.

We use many private foster homes, and Petsmarts, so potential adopters must complete an adoption application showing vet and/or personal references. An adoption fee helps to recover our costs, and supports our work:
Adult Cat: $300.00-already neutered/spayed,combo-tested, vaccinated.
Kitten: $325.00-includes spay/neuter (whether already done or to be done before 6 months of age), combo-test, rabies & distemper vaccinations.
All cats/kittens are de-fleaed and wormed.
Dogs/Puppies: $375-500.-includes all medical

We are a small NO-KILL home-based shelter in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Jamaica Plain and a network of loving foster homes, friends, sympathetic veterinarians and feline rescuers all working to reduce the number of homeless cats in our backyards and on our local Boston streets. We are strictly NO-KILL. We believe that no one has the right to judge (as many shelters do) who is deserving of his or her own life. We euthanize only when a veterinarian concludes an animal is terminally ill with no hope of recovery. We are always asked our hours of operation. We are not staffed during the day, we receive no state, city or federal funding, we are all volunteers who give our time and money for love of the animals. We all work paying jobs during the day and care for the animals every evening.
