This 5-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix is basically your morning espresso in puppy form: energetic, hilarious, and guaranteed to get you going and make each day better.
Peecasso runs on zoomies, playing with toys, and pure enthusiasm. He’s a colorful mix of smarts and silliness, doing great with training and already showing off his genius-level problem-solving (and occasional selective listening… he is a cattle dog, after all 😇).
He loves fetch, toys that squeak, wrestling with foster siblings, and being wherever the fun is. He’d thrive with an active family who appreciates a little spunk but also take time to help him build confidence as he will occasionally tinkle when scared or overly excited.
Peecasso has been around other dogs, cats, and Kids and does just fine. He is scheduled for his neuter and microchip next week, up-to-date on vaccines (boosters needed), and is being fostered in Inverness, FL.

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

More about this rescue
We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
