Welllll doggies! This here fella wandered in as a stray on 12/4/25, and we reckon he’s about 10 months old. One look at that big ol’ grin and you’ll swear he’s the happiest pup this side of the cement pond!
Otis is a whole heap of fun — bouncin’, wigglin’, tail-waggin’ fun. He’s a young’un who ain’t quite done growin’ yet, and he’ll need a bit of teachin’ and guidance so he can grow into the fine, upstandin’ companion you’ve been wishin’ for. But with that joyful spirit of his, he’s bound to be the pride of your homestead.
Otis is available for adoption, so grab your hat, hitch up the buggy, and hurry on over to meet him!

All adoptions are $199.00. Adoptions include the following: Vaccines, microchip, Current dog license, spay/neuter, de-worming medication.

Our office is open Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays from 10:00-2:00. Our kennels are closed on Mondays. The kennels are open Tuesday- Friday 11:00-4:15, Saturdays we open 10:00-1:45.

Did you know... The Richland County Dog Warden's Office & Adoption Center is self-funded and does not receive any tax paying dollars. Our revenue comes from dog license fees, adoptions, impound fees, and YOUR donations. You can send Donations by check or money order to the shelter: 810 N. Home Rd. Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
The shelter always accepts cash donations. However, there are always other things we need too. You can call it a wish list: Bleach, laundry detergent, Capstar flea tablets, Advantage flea drops, pet shampoo,Paper Towels, and sturdy collars and leashes for our dogs here at the facility and those going on transport to rescue.
