Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Canela is a very sweet girl who loves her outings whether its hiking, walking through the neighborhood or just hanging out with you at doggie cafes and greeting people! She barks very little so she would be well suited for apartment living! Canela is also not shy of any weather so make sure you bundle up or have an umbrella as her Dachshund side loves to explore!

Canela gets along with other dogs. She can be a little intimidated by large dogs at first,but has warmed up to her 80-pound foster mate just fine! She has not been cat tested.

1.
Submit Application

Once you have submitted your application, our adoption coordinators will review each application looking for the best fit for each animal.

2.
Interview

Our adoption coordinators will contact you and your references.

3.
Approve Application

You will be notified that you have been accepted and we will schedule a meet and greet.

4.
Meet the Pet

Meetings are usually done with a Home Check.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

All animals adopted from Maggie's Mission are required to be returned to Maggie's Mission in the event the animal is not a fit.

Pay Fee

Maggie's Mission has been rescuing animals from ill fate since 2014. With a team of nearly 100 volunteers and foster families, we have rescued and placed thousands of dogs, cats, horses and critters.
