What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Luna in April and she is a very sweet 1 year old girl. She loves snuggling and playing with her toys. She chases our cat to play but has never tried to hurt him or our chickens. Unfortunately, our young children are not adjusting well to having such a big, strong dog. We have also not been able to commit the time and energy needed to properly train Luna. We did a 4 week training course with her and believe she is very capable of being trained, but due to our children, we are not able to provide the consistency she needs. She is spending more time in her crate than is fair to her. Luna would be great in a home with older children or no kids and someone who is experienced with pit bulls where she could get the attention and support she needs. She stayed at a house with another dog while we were on vacation and they were fine together. She has not had much experience with other dogs. She is not leash aggressive on walks. More curious, playful about other dogs.
