Despite her rock and roll name, Tina Turner (otherwise known as TJ) is the most adorable, little angel baby. TJ is super sweet and loves cuddles with people. For a kitten, she plays sweetly and gently, has very good litter box manners, and likes to keep very clean. She is great about eating her food, and enjoys playing with her toys. Her favourite activities include: playing with her bestie, foster sister Melody (whom she knows as MJ), climbing to new heights and scratchers of all shapes. A cat tree or climbing space will be important for her. TJ also loves boxes, and anything that is box adjacent - such as a basket, gift bag, the odd water bottle case, etc. If there is anything fun and crinkly that she can crawl into and hide her toys in, she will be there! TJ is fine around cat-savvy dogs but much prefers people and cats. TJ is a perfect work companion, and has participated in a few Zoom meetings. Tina Turner is bonded with her foster sibling, Melody and they MUST be adopted together.
Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS.

Meet & greets are either in person with the foster and cat or virtual, at the discretion of the foster.

We are currently in the adoption centre at PetSmart Etobicoke, where we have a limited number of cats and kittens. All of our available cats can be viewed on our website.

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.
We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.
We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
