Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*Woof* Meet me at 71 Oglethorpe NW!
Kobe has heartworm which means he needs rest and to be calm while he gets fixed up. The good thing is that HRA will take care of all his treatments free of charge if you adopt him.
Kobe has the most amazing pips over his eyes! And they say the bigger the pips, the sweeter the dog- and that`s all so true for precious Kobe. He has the most darling tail wag - combined with his puppy dog eyes, he is irresistible! Kobe is seeking a fabulous home with adopters that can help him. He does need to be calm and quiet during his treatments. The HRA staff can tell you more about the care (and it`s really so easy!) he will need while he heals. Can you give this wonderful, friendly pup the grand home he so needs? He will be so grateful. Meet Kobe soon.

More about this shelter
At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.
LOCAL FOCUS
With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our five campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
