"Missy is the SWEETEST girl! She is all puppy and highly intelligent. She adores my husband and loves to sit with him on the couch while he is watching TV. She loves playing with my girls, my nieces, and my nephew. Her favorite thing to do is engage my big dogs in playtime. They are often running around the house, tiring each other out; She is doing great at night--fusses a little bit and then settles down. She is currently cuddling with my daughter in her bed and loving every second. She is already starting to learn basic commands and will pee outside each time I take her out. She is a great dog and will be an amazing addition to any family." If she's still available, Missy will be at our Adoption Event on Saturday, January 17th. Apply today to meet her.

Whether they’re in Texas getting vetted, groomed, and altered, or comfortably settled in New Jersey, all dogs are entrusted to and under the custody of Trust Rescue. They receive loving care in dedicated foster homes or at our facility. No matter where they are, you can trust they are always with us and receiving the best possible care.

Many of our dogs have lived with cats. While we don’t assess for cat compatibility, with thoughtful introductions and your guidance, successful dog-cat relationships are common.
A very small percentage of our dogs will not be altered. A refundable deposit of $125 will be added to the adoption fee for any dog that is not spayed or neutered. The deposit is refundable with proof of surgery and a copy of your contract.

Submit an application on-line. An Adoption Counselor reviews the application. The applicant is contacted within 1-2 days.

Approve Application
If, after a few brief checks, the application is approved, the applicant is notified and a meet is arranged.

Sign Adoption Contract
If the meet is a success, the applicant registers the microchip and signs the Adoption Contract. Then the adopter and dog go home!

TrustRescue has the option of pre-approving an applicant. This allows the applicant to have an application in for 6 months and can notify the Adoption Counselors when they see a dog on-line, they would like to adopt.
