Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Silas is an outgoing, lovable Lab–Shepherd mix ready to bring joy, energy, and affection into his forever home. With his playful personality and warm, friendly nature, Silas bonds easily with the people around him and loves being part of the action.

He’s great with other dogs and wonderful with kids, making him a fantastic match for an active family looking for a fun, social companion. Whether he’s playing in the yard, joining you on adventures, or soaking up affection on the couch, Silas is happiest when he’s with his people.

If you’re searching for a loyal, spirited dog with a heart full of love, Silas just might be your perfect match. He’s ready to start his next chapter—could it be with you?

Additional adoption info

Our dogs are special to us, so we do check references and may require home checks for adopters. Most of our dogs come from kill shelters, dumped or abused. Some maybe needy or in need of training.

Our adoption fees vary depending on the medical needs of the dog and cover all shots up to date according to the age of the dog, all required testing for diseases, spay or neutering of dogs (age appropriate), micro-chipped and transport fees (if we transport the dog).

We required a submitted application along with 3 non-related references. Please be patient, we are an all volunteer organization, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Go meet their pets

We have events in Central Arkansas area and New England area. We operate through dedicated fosters. If you are not in Central Arkansas we can send you video or even do face time to allow you to see how the dog interacts with other dogs and fosters. We also can do live video with Periscope application for smart phones.

If the dog is not in your area we can transport to a local foster in your area. Transport usually takes 3-5 days depending on your location and method of transport.

More about this rescue

We're an all volunteer group of concerned citizens committed to animals in need of rescue. We are passionate about spaying/neutering to end unnecessary euthanasia due to pet over-population. We rescue from local high kill shelters and abandoned dogs. To adopt go to http://www.kcpetrescue.org/adoption-application.html
