What we know: Transferred from Second Chance Dog Rescue in Snyder, TX at approximately 11 weeks old; litter of 8 but 3 stayed back for illness and will come when healthy, 5 transported Dec 10th are all male, not fixed yet, and too young for rabies vax
From the foster: Cole has a big personality to match his big ears. He's a big dog in a little dog's body. He is super playful and loves to play with our 6 month old pup who is about 3 times his size. I think he would thrive with a playmate willing to rough house with him, but he also checks in for snuggles once in a while and usually doesn't let me out of his sight. He loves people, including my 8 year old daughter. He had his first leash experience today and adjusted very quickly and did great. At night I locked him in a bathroom with his crate and a pee pad and he seemed to sleep through the night. So far her prefers to poop insdie, but he hasn't peed inside once. He seems like a bright pup who would learn quickly.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
