My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kilo is a 2-year-old retriever mix who came to us as a stray on 12/08, and he’s been winning hearts ever since. This sweet boy sits quietly with a wagging tail, happily gives kisses, and will often roll over in true submissive fashion. He has a loose, relaxed body and calmly accepts all pets and interactions—he’s a total love bug.

Kilo walks easily on leash and has plenty of youthful energy to burn. He knows sit (especially when treats are involved!) and is eager to engage with his people. When re-assessed with other dogs on 12/14, Kilo showed that he enjoys canine company. He greeted dogs appropriately, took corrections when needed, and initiated play. He’s best described as social with a push-and-pull play style and would do well with compatible dog friends and proper introductions.

If you’re looking for an affectionate, energetic companion who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, Kilo is ready to bring the love (and the kisses) to his forever home.
