I have a mini golden doodle that is almost 6 years old. We got him when he was 8 weeks old, but unfortunately that coincided directly with when covid started and he wasn't ever socialized properly. He is very anxious and reactive in certain circumstances. He doesn't like men, but is very sweet around women and kids. He has 2 minor bite instances with men that have deemed him an aggressive dog. I am recently divorced with 2 children, so I can't take the chance around a busy household where different kids all hitting puberty are in and out of my house all the time. I believe he could do well in a house with a single woman to look after him and continue his training. He is very responsive to training.
With his bite history all regular shelters would euthanize him. He is truly a sweetheart and would give lots of love to the right person.
