Maddox is a sweet little guy who’s had quite a journey. He was surrendered by the only owner he had ever known because they were moving to a city that doesn’t allow pets (eye roll). The shelter environment was overwhelming for him at first, and he could get nervous and tense, though he was never aggressive.
Once Maddox was placed in a foster home, he immediately began to relax and show his affectionate side. He thrives in calm environments and would do best in a quiet home without small children. Maddox will need a patient adopter who is willing to give him time to decompress and feel completely comfortable.
Maddox is heartworm positive, but with proper care, he can live a happy, healthy life. With the right person, this gentle little Chihuahua will become a devoted and loving companion.
