My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Future is on site at our adoption center in SoHo!

Future, a two-year-old male weighing 65 lbs., just arrived and is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new—new people, new sounds, new routines—and we’re giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace.

Here’s what we know so far about his time in foster care: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:0ff40c57-c016-459d-b67d-a13349bf5dbd

Future is a very intelligent and really wants to please. His foster says "From the jump, Future was extremely friendly and cuddly. He took to my roommate extremely well. All he wants is belly rubs and head scratches. He does like to sit on furniture, but once you set that boundary a few times, he will respect it. He doesn’t beg for food and he listens very well. He loves his crate. He slept in it perfectly the first night- no whining, barking or anything. He lets you wipe his paws and body after a walk, and is extremely well potty trained. No accidents, though he will rip a pee pad, and can hold his pee until 8:30 in the morning (we do our night time walk at 11pm). On the second day, Future was the same. He loves to play and can be mouthy, but he is very very gentle and can be distracted with a chew toy. All he wants is to cuddle up and have strokes. He’s gotten better at ignoring people and dogs on the street. It just depends on his mood. He is also very pawy. He uses his paws to give hugs, to rest on you, or to say he wants something. We love how sweet and cuddly Future is. He would be so happy to just sit near you and do nothing."
