My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dillon came to the shelter as a stray, carrying a few scars from a rough past but don’t let that fool you. This handsome boy is full of love and has the sweetest, most affectionate heart.

I’m calm, gentle, and non-reactive with other dogs through the gates. I walk nicely on the leash, enjoy relaxing, and love hanging out in the yard. What I want most is someone to see past my scars and give me the chance to show how loyal and loving I truly am.

Dillon is ready to leave his tough past behind and start a new chapter filled with comfort, kindness, and a family to call his own.

**Dillon is  HW+, but you can foster to adopt, which means the dog stays with you until treatment is completed and they are cleared, at no extra cost to you. The dog comes off the adoption website once you are signed up for the foster to adopt program, or you can choose to go ahead and adopt, which at that point you are responsible for taking care of the treatment and the cost.
