Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You might think you’re prepared for how soft this cat is, but you’re not. You can’t be. She’s just SO SOFT! And she wants you to come feel for yourself. Although Galinda is shy at first and can be easily startled by fast movements and new sounds, once she settles in she’s a lover and a real cuddlebug! She loves for you to pet her head, and she gives the most enthusiastic purrs and headbutts when you do. At nighttime, she wants nothing more than to curl up next to her people and purr.
When she's getting to know you Galinda might like to hang out in places where she can watch you from afar (think under the bed or in the closet) , but she’ll soon warm up and come flop next to you whenever she gets the chance. Let her go at her own pace and you’re sure to win her over, especially by offering snacks and playtime. Right now she isn’t a “lap cat,” but she could easily become one with time. Come meet Galinda! Stop by to visit me at the Podure Pet and Feed North located at 622 N College Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80524.

Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
