Snowball is a 3-month-old, affectionate and playful kitten looking for her forever home!
Snowball may be tiny, but she has a big, bright personality that’s impossible not to love. This snowy-white sweetheart is a talkative girl, especially when she’s in the mood for affection. She learned all her best “please pet me” chirps from her mama cat, and she’s become quite the expert at using them to get attention from her humans. If you enjoy a kitten who communicates her feelings with soft meows and happy purrs, Snowball is your girl.
Her days are a joyful mix of playtime, cuddle breaks, and grand kitten adventures. Mornings begin with her favorite wet food breakfast, followed by a burst of zoomies as she races off to wrestle her siblings or skitter up the cat tree to find the perfect high perch for a luxurious nap. She has the ideal amount of kitten spunk—curious, energetic, and always ready to turn anything on the floor into a toy. Cat tunnels are a special obsession, and she loves darting in and out of them like the tiny acrobat she is.
Snowball currently lives with her littermates, her mama cat, two adults, and four older children. While she has seen the resident cats and dogs, her interactions have been limited. She shows interest in the other cats but is still a bit cautious, and she’s understandably nervous about the dogs for now.
Her ideal home has a calm to moderately active energy level and plenty of love to give. Most importantly, Snowball would thrive with another kitten or a young, playful cat who can be her companion, wrestling buddy, and partner in adorable mischief.

Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.

Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
