My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snoopy — the little Shih Tzu with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life!
At just 4 years old and 14 pounds, Snoopy has already had quite the journey. His previous family took him in when friends were being evicted, hoping they could find him a safe and loving home. They tried their best, but when they couldn’t place him, they brought him to us so he’d finally get the chance he deserves.

When Snoopy arrived, he needed some routine care — so he’s now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for tick-borne illnesses, and started on his flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He’s all set for a fresh start!

Snoopy is an affectionate, high-energy little guy who loves to play, especially with stuffie toys. He enjoys older kids and other dogs, and he’ll tolerate cats as long as they respect his space. He’s a bit anxious in new situations and can still have the occasional accident in the house, so patience and reassurance will go a long way with him.

Because he worries that someone might take his food, children in the home need to understand not to disturb him when he`s eating meals or snacks. Snoopy could use some help with leash training, but he’d absolutely thrive with a fenced yard where he can run, play, and get out the wiggles.

At the end of the day, Snoopy is a cuddle bug who just wants to be loved. If you`re looking for a playful, loyal, and snuggly companion who will make you laugh and keep you on your toes, Snoopy is ready to meet you.

This sweet boy has been waiting a long time for his happy ending — could it be with you?
