Hi there, I’m Twyla!
I’m a 1-year-old, 32-pound black-and-white terrier mix, currently reporting live from my awesome foster home! Let me tell you a little about myself… 🐾
First things first: I LOVE my people. If you want a loyal shadow who can hike right alongside you and then immediately switch into Professional Cuddler Mode, I’m your girl. I may be young, but I’ve already mastered the art of adventure and snuggling.
I’m also what they call a “food enthusiast.” If snacks are involved, I’m listening. Actually… I’m always listening.
I’ve been working hard on my house manners, and guess what? No accidents inside! I’m kind of proud of that. I’m a great student and I like making my humans happy, so training has been super fun for me.
I get along with cats, dogs, and kiddos of all ages—I believe everyone deserves a wag and a wiggle! I sleep all night in my kennel like a champ, and my leash skills are coming along really well (I try very hard not to zig-zag… but sometimes a leaf is VERY exciting).
So… whaddaya think?
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, food-loving sidekick with equal enthusiasm for hikes and couch time, I think we might be a perfect match. 💕
Love,
Twyla 🐶✨

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
