Meet Onix, an affectionate and energetic male dog looking for a loving forever home! Onix is a social and playful companion who thrives on connection with his people. He adores cuddling and will happily curl up in your lap whenever he gets the chance. Peanut-butter treats and car rides are some of his absolute favorite things, and he'll gladly hop in for an adventure.
In his previous home, Onix spent much of his time in the bedroom or relaxing in his crate. He is crate-trained, though being crated for long periods isn't ideal for him, as he can become stressed. He didn't have a consistent walking schedule before, so while he enjoys going out, he currently pulls moderately on leash and will benefit from continued positive-reinforcement training.
This smart boy already knows several commands-sit, down/lay down, come, wait, and eat-and he loves learning, especially when treats are involved. In care, Onix is still working on his basic manners and can become a bit mouthy when excited, so adopters willing to provide patient guidance and structure will help him shine.
Onix would be a wonderful match for someone who enjoys an active, affectionate dog and is ready to help him continue building confidence and good habits. With love, routine, and gentle training, Onix is sure to become a loyal and joyful member of the family. Primary Color: Gray Secondary Color: White Weight: 41 Age: 1yrs 1mths 3wks
