Our little furry friend here is Hammy! Hammy is on his second visit to Berkshire Humane Society through no fault of his own. Now, he`s hoping for a permanent home where he can stay forever. Hammy can be a little nervous when he first meets you, but if you give him a moment to get used to you, he enjoys being pet gently and handled. With time, patience and consistent handling, Hammy will make a nice addition to someone`s home. Since guinea pigs are extremely social animals, it would be best if he go to a home with another male guinea pig, and to pair him up through a slow introduction period.
