Peanut is far more than a brown brindle beauty. She's a loving and talented canine that would make an amazingly loyal companion. Peanut is well behaved in the house, kennel trained and will gently accompany you on walks. She knows commands, loves toys and likes playing in water. She is good on car rides and is okay with baths. Persephone is dog friendly and okay with cats and kids. Her behavior in the kennels has not been indicative of her warm, loving, playful side. Please come by for a visit with Peanut outside and see what a sweetheart she really is. Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 34 Age: 4yrs 6mths 3wks

Adoption viewing hours are from 8:00an-4:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 12pm-2pm. You must have a valid drivers license to apply. We do not do home checks. Adoption fees are $35 for dogs/pups, $25 cats/kittens and $150 for horses.
Effective Monday, August 17,2015, LAFAYETTE ANIMAL SHELTER & CARE CENTER will begin accepting VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards. There will be a 2.5% surcharge/convenience fee added to your total. This fee is not greater than our cost of acceptance.
