My wife adopted this Jack Russel mix about 5 years ago and the dog was attached to my wife, about 4 years ago my wife was diagnosed with cancer and passed away earlier this year. The dog does not really like me. She continues to urinate in her crate while I'm at work. She needs someone who can give her the attention she needs. I imagine a woman would be best as she was attached to my wife and is leery of men. I don't want to euthanize her but I can not continue cleaning up urine every day. She even urinates when I'm home. She only wants to be in her crate, if I let her roam the house, even when I'm home, she will urinate on my sofa etc. I have other dogs so I dont think she gets the attention she needs. She does not like other dogs. She has barrier agression and will nip if you turn your back. Like I said, she needs someone who has the time to spend with her, she can learn but you have to be with her all the time.
