Hello! My name is Clifford. Yes, that Clifford...... this big red guy bears an uncanny resemblance to everyone’s favorite big red dog! True to his name, Clifford is a big, goofy boy with a playful spirit and a whole lot of heart.
Clifford is looking for a dog-savvy home that’s comfortable with large, strong dogs. He would love an active family ready to include him in adventures, walks, and fun outings. He’s a young dog with plenty of curiosity and enthusiasm for life.
Because of his size, Clifford would do best in a home with older children (ideally ages 10 and up) who can respect his space and understand that big dogs sometimes need a little room.
In playgroup at the shelter, Clifford has done well with dogs his size and seems to prefer the company of large female dogs. He’s not a rough-and-tumble wrestler, but he does enjoy running around and engaging in a good game of chase with canine friends.
As with any new addition, we recommend slow, thoughtful introductions to any resident pets in the home.
