My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Aspen Your Next Adventure Buddy!Aspen is a 4-year-old Border Collie mix with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. Energetic, intelligent, and always ready to play, Aspen is happiest when she's running around with a toy in her mouth (and yes, shes got a whole tote full of favorites that will come home with her!). Thanks to a thoughtful supporter of the shelter, Aspen's adoption fee has been fully sponsored! True to her breed, Aspen has a strong prey drive and loves to chase anything that moves from balls to bicycles to the occasional skateboard. She walks nicely on a leash with the help of her special no-pull collar and is a great car companion for road trips or vet visits. Aspen is fairly tolerant of cats with a slow and mindful introduction. However, she prefers to be the only dog in the home, as she doesn't get along well with other pups. She would thrive in a rural or country setting where she can safely enjoy the great outdoors and have plenty of space to explore. If youre looking for a loyal, playful, and low-maintenance companion whos ready to be your one-and-only, Aspen might just be the perfect match.
