My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Citrus! 🍊
This adorable little dachshund mix was found abandoned alongside her mama, Olive. Citrus is about 10 weeks old and 4 pounds, and we expect her to grow to be around her mom’s size when fully grown. She’s super sweet, playful, and loving, with the kind of gentle personality that makes her easy to fall for. Citrus is respectful of other dogs, loves all people, and will happily be your little shadow—following you from room to room just to be near you.

Young puppies are only available for local adoption.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
