Banana was born at the end of July 2025 unexpectedly to a very small rescued tortie cat. He is growing fast and is ready for his forever loving home. (he is already larger than his mama at 6.6 lbs!). He is a little on the shy/timid side so a very loud active home may not be the right fit for him. If he does hide you can easily pick him up; he won't run from you in terror. He's very sweet when picked up and just needs to know he is safe and loved (don't we all?)
Due to younger kids not having the understanding of how to handle small pets,

We have an application process with references including vet references. Once we check references, we will talk to you personally and discuss the pet you are interested in. Once approved, we will work out arrangements for pick-up or drop-off of your new fur baby.

We are Michelle and Jeff. Our love for animals and the crisis we are in with so many dogs in overcrowded shelters prompted us to open a rescue. Our mission is to save shelter animals from euthanasia. We believe that no animal should be killed simply due to lack of space and we strive to ensure that every animal has an opportunity for a happy and fulfilling life.
