My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Charlie is at Cat & Craft in Vista. ***

Charlie #20034: brown/tan tabby, medium hair, neutered male, born approx. 6/22/25

Cats: good
Dogs: good
Children: late elementary+

BACKGROUND: Five kittens were left at a Parks and Recreation Center with no mother; the staff stepped in to keep them safe and then a kind couple took them in to foster. Though they were able to find homes for two of the kittens, they weren’t having any further luck and sought help… Charlie and his siblings Gracie and Autumn plus their foster sister Billie have now come to The Rescue House to find loving homes!

PERSONALITY: Charlie is a calm and observant fellow with a mellow temperament and a love for exploring cozy corners and new spaces. He brings a peaceful presence wherever he goes. Well-behaved, thoughtful, and endlessly endearing, Charlie would thrive with people who appreciate his gentle curiosity and enjoy a quiet and loving companion. He favorite toy – and place to be – is inside a play tunnel.

COMPATIBILITY: Charlie gets along well with other cats though is something of a loner and could also be a solo kitty. His foster family had a small dog and he was at ease with a canine housemate. We think he’d be fine with gentle children late elementary-aged and up.

Charlie will always cheer you up!
