Medical Notes: On intake P is BAR, e/d well, friendly. Wide spread alopecia with dermatitis, scabbing. Concentrated on back legs and face. Skin scrape-negative. Applied Revolution as precautionary against mange.
Suspect P may have severe allergies. Give Convenia and Depomedrol injection and get to rescue for further testing.
RECHECK EXAM - Recheck exam. P is BAR, e/d well, very sweet and friendly. Skin has improved, redness has decreased. Medically cleared for adoptions with waiver stating they understand he needs more care at a full service DVM or specialist DVM for his skin issues.

FIV/FELV Negative

Behavior Notes: easy to remove from kennel, pawing at the glass, easy to do, no resistance

VIP ADOPTABLE : Skin issues related to possible allergy. Will need more care once adopted with a DVM for the skin issues. Very sweet and friendly!

Arlington Animal Services adoption program is open to anyone wishing to adopt an animal. The adoption process is simple. You may visit the shelter or view our animals at www.arlingtontx.gov/animals. All pets are given initial vaccinations, appropriate testing (Heartworm or Cat Combo)and will be altered before releasing to their new home. Arlington residents are required to purchase a City license.
