Waldo is a gentle, loving soul who gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes — big, small, and everything in between. He’s an easygoing companion who adores being close to his people. His favorite hobbies include sleeping under the blankets (human bed or dog bed, he doesn’t discriminate!), snuggling in the recliner, and being your loyal little shadow.
He has a very sweet, affectionate personality and bonds deeply with those who care for him.
Waldo was diagnosed with Chronic Valvular Disease of the heart, which is well-managed with Vetmedin 1.25 mg (1 tablet twice daily). This medication costs approximately $124.78 for 100 tablets on Chewy, making his ongoing care very manageable. Waldo has also recently had a dental cleaning with five problematic teeth removed, so his smile is healthier than ever!
Because he is a tiny escape artist, Waldo will need a family who can keep a close eye on him when he’s outside. For his safety and comfort, Waldo also needs a home with no children under age 10.
