Cosmo is ready for his forever home. This sweet boy was abandoned by his owners when they moved. He is now safely living with one of our amazing fosters and he is thriving!
Cosmo has already met some of the resident cats and has been nothing but a gentleman. When he met one of the cats today, he rolled over on his back to expose his belly, as if to say, “Hey buddy, look at me, I have nothing to hide and I’d love to be your friend.” Cosmo loves playing with toys, especially interactive ones, and he has a fondness for catnip. He likes to have conversations with his foster mom and he chirps with excitement whenever he sees the other cats. He is comfortable around dogs and would likely do well with a canine pal, if slow, gradual introductions were done. While living outdoors, he used to follow one of his caregivers on her daily walks with her dogs. Cosmo is in good health although he is FIV positive. This is not a big deal as cats with FIV can live long, happy lives. They can also live in a home with other cats as long as none of the cats are aggressive. We would love to find this handsome boy his forever home and would appreciate if you could help us by sharing his post. For more details, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com.

More about this rescue
We assist shelters and find homes for their adoptable pets.
We take professional photos, write bios and post to adoption websites.
We also provide funds for medical care, foster animals and find foster families .We organize adoption events and give presentations to schools on the importance of spaying /neutering and vaccinating animals.
For the last 12 years, we have been working with several small rural shelters who have limited space and would have to euthanize due to lack of space. We pull their animals and get them into foster homes until we find their forever homes.
We devote many hours to getting animals out of shelters and into foster and permanent homes.
