Miss Emmy was found on the side of the road on a cold night. No other litter mates around or parents. Unfortunately, Emmy was likely dumped. She has now blossomed into the most playful and loving little girl. Emmy is estimated to be 9 weeks old and is as healthy as can be! Approve Application

Adopters application will either get approved or denied based on the pets needs.

2.
Meet the Pet

Adoption interview and a meet and greet happen at the same time.

3.
Home Check

If meet and greet/ interview go well, we will do a home check to ensure the pet is safe.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once adoption contract is signed and fee is paid, the pet has officially been adopted!

Southside Strays adopts dogs out as indoor companions, not as outdoor guard dogs. Most of the pets that come through our door had either been abandoned or spent way too long wandering the streets. It's their turn to enjoy the life of a spoiled bed-hog! We do require home checks before the adoption process is complete to ensure our dogs are going to a safe home.
