My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prism is white gentleman with a soft heart and gorgeous heterochromia eyes - one blue and one yellow. He is sweet, thoughtful, and quietly magical.

Prism didn’t always know the comforts of home life. After living on the streets, he’s been learning that blankets are for sinking into, cardboard houses are excellent hideaways, and humans sometimes come bearing chicken treats (his absolute favorite). These days, he greets trusted people with sweet little rub-ups, especially if snacks are involved, and is slowly discovering that affection can be a very good thing.

He’s a shy boy at first and likes to take his time getting comfortable. New environments and new faces can make him a bit unsure, and he may occasionally attempt to become “invisible” by sitting very still in a corner until he decides it’s safe to reappear. Once he settles in, Prism shows his tender side. He enjoys soft bedding, cozy spots, gentle play with feather toys, and the calm companionship of other cats.

Prism will need a quiet, low-activity home with at least one friendly feline companion to help him feel secure.

If you’re looking for a sweet, reserved soul who will reward your patience with trust, affection, and the occasional chicken-treat dance, Prism is ready to find a home where he can finally feel safe, seen, and loved.

More about this rescue

Urban Cat Coalition is dedicated to helping create a no-kill community by humanely reducing the community cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR) and adoption programs.

We conduct targeted trapping and support community cat caretakers by being a resource to provide guidance with trapping and colony care.

We educate the community on cat overpopulation and the benefits of TNR.
