My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purrnelope may be the smallest of her litter, but she carries herself like she knows exactly how awesome she is. She’s on the quieter side and prefers to observe before jumping in, but when a stick toy appears, all bets are off. She launches herself over her brothers with impressive confidence, zero hesitation, and impeccable aim. The toys never stands a chance.

When playtime winds down, Purrnelope’s priorities shift to warmth and companionship. She loves parking herself by a heat vent until she’s all toasty, then settling in next to her fellow cats for a good snuggle. She’s affectionate on her own terms and has a lovely balance of independence and sweetness, popping in for play or cuddles when the mood strikes and retreating for quiet time when she needs a break.

Purrnelope does best with other cats and will need a feline friend in her forever home. She’s comfortable in busy households but also appreciates calm moments, making her a great match for families who understand that even kittens sometimes want a little space.

Her ideal home is one that lets her set the pace. Play when she’s ready, snuggle when she decides, and plenty of cozy spots to warm up in between. In return, you’ll get a gentle, entertaining little companion.

If you’re looking for a tiny gray love muffin, Purrnelope is ready for the task.

More about this rescue

Urban Cat Coalition is dedicated to helping create a no-kill community by humanely reducing the community cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR) and adoption programs.

We conduct targeted trapping and support community cat caretakers by being a resource to provide guidance with trapping and colony care.

We educate the community on cat overpopulation and the benefits of TNR.
