My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rio!

This beautiful mama has raised her babies and is finally ready for a forever home of her own. Rio is as loving and gentle as they come — a sweet soul who deserves all the comfort and happiness she gave to her pups.

Rio is kennel and house trained, making her an easy addition to any household. She’s wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids.

She absolutely loves being outside — whether she’s exploring, lounging in the sunshine, or taking a peaceful walk, the outdoors is her happy place.

Rio has been spayed, so no more litters! She is current on vaccines and microchipped.

Rio has put her heart into motherhood, and now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with the sweetest spirit, Rio is ready to love you forever.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com. If she fits your family and lifestyle, you will be contacted within 48 hours.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
