Say hello to Tatum (but you can call her Tater Tots)!

This tiny queen of cozy is a 13lb, 3.5 year old Jack Russell/Dachshund mix who rides like a dream in the car, snoozes like a champ in her crate, gets along with other dogs, and believes every warm blanket was placed on earth just for her. She’s still polishing her house training, but she makes up for it with endless snuggles and adorable squeaky-toy concerts. Her energy level can best be described as "snuggles with some zoomies." Tatum has not met any cats or kids while in her foster home, but we believe she could be fine with either if they are gentle and respectful.

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
