Zen’s Bio – The Little Stocky Lover Boy With a Million-Dollar Purr
Zen may be the “little stocky guy” of the pair, but he’s all heart from head to tail. With his glossy black fur, bright expressive eyes, and adorable chirpy meows, he’s the type of kitten who charms everyone instantly. Zen is a social butterfly who loves to be held, carried, adored, and doted on. He has a special habit of circling by your legs to tell you he wants to be picked up, and once he’s in your arms, he’ll purr right in your ear like he’s sharing a secret. His purrs, according to his foster, are worth a million dollars.
Zen and his sister Zara are inseparable, and they must be adopted together. Like Zara, Zen is FeLV+ and therefore needs a home where they will be the only pets or there are other pets with FeLV+. He will likely thrive in a quiet home with adults or older, calm children who understand gentle interaction. Zen has been around people and does beautifully once he feels safe—he may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he transforms into the sweetest, most affectionate boy who chirps to show his happiness. Zen and Zara are each other’s comfort and courage, always playing, exploring, and cuddling side by side.
Zen is wonderfully balanced—independent at times, and delightfully needy at others. He loves to follow Zara everywhere, and the two of them make an irresistible duo during playtime. Zen also has a silly, heartwarming habit of sitting by the screen door and spinning in circles when his foster talks to him, proudly saying, “Look at me!
