Stormy is a 1-year-old Bernedoodle who is just beginning to learn what it means to be a beloved family pet. He came to rescue as part of a breeder release when his former owners chose to stop operating, so life inside a home is still very new to him.
Stormy is gentle, sweet, and observant. He does wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home that already has a confident, well-adjusted dog he can follow and learn from. Having a canine buddy helps him feel safe as he navigates new experiences and builds confidence.
Because Stormy has not yet experienced life as a pet, he will need a patient and understanding home that allows him time to settle in at his own pace. With consistency, kindness, and reassurance, Stormy is will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. He’s looking for a family who understands that trust takes time—and is willing to let him get there on his terms. The adjustment period can take several weeks or longer. Please make sure that you are committed to this process before submitting an application.
