Meet Woody

Woody is thriving in foster care and ready for his forever home! This happy, playful 1½-year-old medium-sized hound mix is full of personality — sweet, funny, and always ready to make new friends. He’s currently being fostered in Massachusetts (South Shore) while he searches for his family.

Woody is fully ready for adoption — neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations — and he gets along great with dogs, kids, and cats. All he needs now is a family to call his own.

Woody originally came to us from one of our Southern partner rescues, where he was also a favorite of his foster family — and it’s easy to see why!

Adopters fill out application, our coordinator will then interview potential adopter, check with their vets, Landlord if renting and background check is run.
We do home visits as a final process to be sure the home is considered a good fit as well as meeting with directors to discuss.

From Alone to Home Rescue is a non-profit 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization. EIN: 92-2277002 foster-based rescue dedicated to rescuing dogs that are homeless, owner surrendered or at risk of being euthanized in the shelter system. We are a small rescue group made up of volunteers, family and friends united by their shared love of dogs and dedication to making a difference.
Our goal is to create a world where dogs are loved, respected, free from cruelty and unnecessary suffering. We work hard to reduce euthanasia and are dedicated to their rescue, rehabilitation. We believe we can find every dog a loving and safe home.
