My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a gentle and loving 10 week old puppy who’s ready to find a loving forever family of his very own! This sweet little guy made the long trip from New Mexico with his brothers and sisters, and now he’s hoping to settle into a quiet, caring home where he can really be part of the family. We’re not sure exactly which breeds make up Jack’s unique mix, but we do know he’s super sweet and once he trusts you, will give you all his love! Jack is a shy boy who will thrive in a calm home that offers plenty of patience, kindness, soft encouragement, playtime, and continued socialization to help him build confidence. Jack is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his age-appropriate puppy vaccines. This easygoing little boy is so ready for love—come meet sweet Jack today and discover what a wonderful, gentle pup he truly is!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
