We are currently having issues with our adoption inquiry webform. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with an animal or multiple animals, please email us directly at info@animalhope.org or call us 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm. Hello, The Princess and the Frog pups are still available for adoption, and we would love to find them the wonderful homes they deserve. Their adoption fee is $300, though we’re happy to be flexible — what matters most to us is that they end up with families who will cherish them.
These little ones are about 14–15 weeks old and weigh around 10 lbs. We’ve cared for them since they were just 3 weeks old. Their mom and the litter were found alone in a field, and we stepped in to make sure they were safe, healthy, and loved. There were originally five pups, and we now have three still waiting for their forever homes.
They’ve received all their vaccinations (including rabies), a full veterinary exam, microchips, fecal testing, flea and heartworm prevention, and they were spayed on 1/6/2025. They’ve grown up surrounded by care, routine, and affection — and they’re ready to bring that same love into someone’s life.
To adopt, you must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. Do you have any questions, or would you like to schedule a time to meet them? If you have any questions, please contact Animal Hope. Our rules, policies, and procedures only allow us to adopt in TARRANT COUNTY for Puppies under 15 weeks. NO EXCEPTIONS. All Meet and Greets are by appointment only. Please contact Animal Hope to schedule an appointment.

Our adoption fees for adult dogs start at $300, though could be higher based on adoption demand and medical costs. Our adoption fees for puppies start at $400, though could be higher based on adoption demand, and includes 4 veterinary visits to update vaccines and perform spay/neuter. Some dogs have higher adoption fees because of adoption interest
Our shelter mission focuses on medical and behavioral rehab cases, so our adoption fees never cover our costs.
We have an adoption application for dogs and cats and will check a vet reference as well as information regarding your home situation and pet compatibility.
Some adoptions will require a home visit.

More about this shelter
Animal Hope opened its doors as a standalone shelter on February 1, 2015.
Prior to that, Animal Hope operated as a small rescue at Animal Hospital Southwest. As the municipal veterinarian for the city of Fort Worth, Animal Hospital Southwest frequently pulled difficult cases that the city was not equipped to treat and rehabilitate due to budgetary and time constraints.
From this organization was born the Animal Hope shelter, a rescue focusing on rehabilitation and “second chance” adoptions.
