Hey, you can call me Waffles. I’m a friendly guy who runs up right away to say hello. I’m bonded to my sister, Truffles, and we’re looking for a home where we can be adopted together.
I’m fairly energetic, but I settle into a calm rhythm quickly - pets, cheek rubs, and hanging out close to my humans is one of my favorite things - after I’ve gotten out all of my energy, of course!
My favorite toy is a simple cardboard box, though I’ll play with chew toys, stacking cups, and apple sticks if they’re around. While I usually stick to my cardboard, sometimes I get curious and check out a spot I shouldn’t, so I would do best in a bunny-proofed home.
I haven’t met kids or other animals, but I’ve done great with all the adults I’ve encountered. I love getting a salad in the morning, pellets at night, and a steady supply of hay. My litter habits are very good - I always pee in my box and rarely leave a stray poop unless I hop out quickly. Foodwise, I love romaine, spring mix, cilantro, and both Oxbow and Selective Naturals treats. I like familiar foods, but I’ll try new things given some time!
Waffles & I are looking for a forever home where we can enjoy the company of each other and our humans - could that be yours?
*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.*
If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.
Gender: Male
Approximate birthdate: 6/13/2025
Approximate weight: 5.06 pounds
Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax)
RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
