Dean is 1 year and 8 months old. We adopted him from a shelter at age 4 months. He had been there for 2 months after being found abandoned at 2 months old, so his early history is unknown. Dean is a healthy and typical young lab - lots of energy and craves attention. He loves to play with toys and run around outside. He is house trained, crate trained, and has learned several commands but like most teenagers is not always obedient. Dean has anxiety issues and is reactive to other animals. He came to us with these issues, likely due to early experiences. He bonded quickly to my teenage grandson as well as to myself. It is unknown how he would be around younger children. Personal health issues during the past year has made it difficult for us to care for Dean. Thus, we are looking to rehome him. Someone with experience training a dog with anxiety would be best.
