My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lottie 🐾💛

Lottie is a clever little pup on a mission to steal your heart — and possibly your snacks. Smart, affectionate, and eager to please, she loves learning new tricks almost as much as she loves tasty treats (and let’s be honest… treats might win by a nose).

She’s working on her crate and house training and is already making great progress. Lottie knows outside is the place to potty and is getting more comfortable with crate time each day. She’s a quick learner who truly wants to do the right thing — especially if praise or snacks are involved.

Lottie is a total social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, and kids. She’s been polishing her manners with a nine-year-old Great Dane in her foster home and does a great job respecting boundaries. Toys are her jam (soft toys are her absolute favorite), and she loves playing with other dogs and showing off her clever little brain.

Leash walking, stairs, and crate time are still on her “things I’m mastering” list, but Lottie is learning fast and having fun every step of the way. She’s the perfect pup for a family ready to keep teaching, keep playing, and keep the snuggles coming.

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
