Owl is a five-month-old brown tabby girl with the cutest round face and big, expressive eyes — which is exactly how she earned her name. This sweet girl showed up at a rural residence in Winneshiek County, IA and had to be safely trapped before coming into care.
Owl is still fairly shy and timid, but she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Once she has time to settle in, she truly enjoys attention and gentle pets and shows just how sweet she is. She absolutely loves other cats and will snuggle with just about any feline friend she can find. Owl has also been exposed to dogs and has done well with them.
She’ll do best in a calm, quieter home with a patient person who’s willing to continue her socialization journey and let her build confidence at her own pace. With time, consistency, and kindness, Owl has all the potential to blossom into a loving companion 🐾🤎

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
