Meet Gertie — the sweetest, squatty little lovebug you’ll ever meet!
Gertie loves BIG, and she loves with her whole butterball body. This adorable mix of pittie and bulldog (or maybe corgi—those short legs are a clue!) is as sturdy as she is snuggly. She may be low to the ground, but her spirit is sky-high.
Gertie is a playful, joyful girl who’s always ready for fun. She thrives with an active family and would do best in a home with a yard where she can zoom, waddle, and romp to her heart’s content. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a naturally submissive, gentle personality, making her an easy addition to a canine crew.
When playtime is over, Gertie turns into a world-class cuddler. She’s extremely affectionate, loves to sleep in bed with her humans, and yes… she snores. Loudly. Endearingly. A bedtime soundtrack of pure contentment.

After completing our vet check and approving your application, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.

All animals in your home over 6 months of age must be spayed/neutered
All animals in your home must be current on vaccinations
All current/past dogs in your home must be current on heart worm preventative and have a history of providing the medication year round
All adoptions to residents of the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex only
Vet check is required for all adoptions
