Meet Inislosky Romeo, affectionately known as Romeo, born on January 1, 2018. True to his name, Romeo is a sweetheart through and through—gentle, easygoing, and full of quiet charm. He walks beautifully on the lead, confident without being strong, and takes loud noises, new environments, and traffic in stride.
This handsome boy adores being groomed and absolutely loves soaking up attention. Romeo is wonderful with children of all ages and gets along well with dogs of all sizes and breeds, making him an easy fit for many types of families. He has also tested well as being cat tolerant!

Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions, Gulf Coast Chapter is a 501(c) (3) non-profit all volunteer organization that is dedicated to the placement of retired racing greyhounds into qualified, caring and loving homes since 2003. It is our mission to educate the public regarding the gentle nature and wonderful temperament of the greyhound breed.
With the closing of the Florida race tracks in 2020, the number of local greyhounds needing placement in loving homes has been significantly reduced. While we are still doing everything we can to help retired racers from other states and countries, we are excited to announce that we are expanding our mission to now work with other sighthounds and closely related sighthound breeds!
