Hi, my name is Marcella, the rescue, and the person that takes me home with her during the day, says that I am extremely smart; I will even bring you my food and water bowl if it is empty! I also really like treats, and I learn new things quickly, so if you wanted to teach me some new tricks, I would love that!
My previous owner dumped me near a Home Depot and the nice people at WUWF rescued me from under a car where I was waiting for my human to come back and get me, but they never came. Because I was abandoned, I am a little is shy at first, but if you sit, I will get curios and come right up to you for pets and kisses; I can be very affectionate and I love the sweet talks!
I am good with most dogs, big or small, and I enjoy playing with my fur friends, although I do sometimes get annoyed if I am trying to sleep and they want to lay next to me. I am also great on a leash, and I enjoy going on walks and seeing new things. I am active, and I love to be right next to my person, so if you don`t give me enough attention, I will let you know for sure! Did I tell you that I am also great in the car? I will jump right in to go on an adventure with you, and I love having the window down so I can see and smell outside; maybe we could go and get a pup cup from Starbucks.
I am potty trained, kennel trained, and I listen very well; I just want to have an active family of my very own!

We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️.
