Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lavender! Lavender is a 3-year-old cat who has made incredible progress in foster care and continues to blossom more each day. When he first arrived, Lavender was very scared and unsure, but with consistency and gentle guidance, he has shown just how resilient and sweet he truly is.
Over the past couple of weeks, Lavender has gained confidence and curiosity. He now enjoys petting, purrs and kneads during affection, and eagerly seeks out interaction. He’s playful, very food-motivated, and loves toys and catnip. Lavender will greet his foster with rubs and headbutts, especially during favorite routines like mealtime and playtime.
Lavender has learned to feel safe around people and is no longer hiding when someone enters the room. He’s comfortable being gently handled for short periods, enjoys exploring new spaces, and is steadily becoming less sensitive to movement. He does well with other cats and has shown calm, tolerant behavior when sharing space and toys with a resident cat.
Like many cats gaining confidence, Lavender is still learning boundaries. He can be vocal when he wants attention or play and may swat occasionally, but these behaviors continue to improve as he settles into routine and trust.
Lavender would thrive in a home that appreciates his progress, enjoys interactive play, and is willing to continue helping him build confidence. With patience and understanding, he will make a deeply rewarding and affectionate companion.
